企業概要
Helios Technologies, Inc. is a global provider of engineered motion control and electronic controls technology solutions, serving clients across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia Pacific through its Hydraulics and Electronics segments. The company operates within the Industrials sector, specifically categorized under Specialty Industrial Machinery, a classification that denotes its focus on specialized equipment rather than broad consumer goods. With a total market capitalization of $2.40B and annual revenue of $839.00M, the enterprise demonstrates significant scale within its niche market. The market cap figure of $2.40B combined with a revenue base of $839.00M indicates that the market values the company at approximately 3.0x its trailing twelve-month sales, reflecting investor confidence in its specialized machinery portfolio. Furthermore, the workforce comprising 2300 employees suggests a substantial operational footprint required to maintain its diverse global supply chain and manufacturing capabilities.
財務健全性
The company reported revenue of $839.00M over the trailing twelve months, generating net income of $48.40M and EBITDA of $154.30M, highlighting a significant disparity between top-line revenue and bottom-line profit. This substantial gap between revenue and net income reveals a cost structure where operating expenses, including cost of goods sold and administrative costs, consume approximately 94.2% of total revenue before reaching the net income line. Helios Technologies maintains free cash flow of $93.50M, which provides the financial flexibility to fund capital expenditures, service debt obligations, or pursue strategic acquisitions without relying heavily on external financing. The gross margin stands at 32.4%, while the operating margin is 12.8% and the profit margin is 5.8%; these figures indicate that the company retains roughly one-third of sales as gross profit but faces considerable operating leverage pressures that reduce the final return to shareholders. On the balance sheet, the company holds cash of $73.00M against total debt of $386.20M, resulting in a debt-to-equity ratio of 41.46, which characterizes a leveraged financial position typical for capital-intensive industrial machinery manufacturers. The current ratio of 2.90 demonstrates robust short-term liquidity, indicating that current assets are nearly three times current liabilities, thereby ensuring the ability to meet short-term obligations comfortably. Additionally, the return on equity is 5.4% and the return on assets is 3.9%, metrics that reveal the efficiency with which management utilizes shareholder capital and total assets to generate earnings, respectively.
バリュエーション評価
Helios Technologies trades with a trailing P/E ratio of 49.92 and a forward P/E ratio of 22.62, a significant divergence implying that the market expects earnings to nearly double in the coming year to justify the current multiple. The price-to-book ratio of 2.57 suggests that the market is pricing the company at a 157% premium over its book value, reflecting intangible assets, brand strength, or growth expectations not captured on the balance sheet. Alternative valuation metrics such as the price-to-sales ratio of 2.86 and an EV/EBITDA of 17.56 provide a broader context, suggesting the company is valued at less than 18 times its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization, which may be reasonable for a high-growth industrial firm. Regarding price metrics, the 52-week high is $76.47 and the low is $25.12; without the specific current share price provided in the facts, the precise percentage deviation cannot be calculated, but the wide trading range indicates high volatility. The beta value of 1.26 signifies that the stock's price volatility is 26% higher than that of the broader market, making it a more sensitive instrument to general equity market fluctuations.
Growth & Income
Revenue growth stands at 17.4% year-over-year, while earnings growth is an impressive 307.8% year-over-year, indicating that earnings are expanding at a rate vastly outpacing revenue growth. This disparity implies that the company is benefiting from significant operational leverage, where fixed costs are covered, allowing incremental revenue to flow directly to the bottom line. The company offers a dividend yield of 0.7% with a payout ratio of 24.8%, a low payout that suggests the dividend is highly sustainable given the current earnings level and allows ample room for reinvestment. This conservative payout policy enables the firm to retain the majority of earnings to fund expansion projects and R&D rather than distributing them as income to shareholders. Overall, Helios Technologies presents a profile characterized by accelerating earnings growth supported by strong revenue expansion and a financially conservative dividend policy.
