企業概要

AT&T Inc. is a global leader in telecommunications and technology services, delivering essential infrastructure and consumer solutions through its Communications and Latin America segments. The company operates within the Communication Services sector, specifically focusing on the Telecom Services industry, which involves the transmission of voice, data, and information over interconnected networks. As a massive enterprise, AT&T Inc. boasts a market capitalization of $191.47B and employs approximately 133,030 individuals worldwide to support its operations. With annual revenue reaching $125.65B, these valuation and income figures underscore the company's significant scale and its established position as a major pillar of the global telecommunications landscape. The sheer magnitude of its market cap relative to its revenue stream indicates a mature, capital-intensive business model that commands a substantial presence in the financial markets.

財務健全性

The company reported a total revenue of $125.65B for the trailing twelve months, generating a net income of $21.89B and an EBITDA of $44.24B. The substantial gap between the revenue figure and the net income highlights a significant cost structure comprising operating expenses, depreciation, and interest obligations before reaching the bottom line. Operating with a free cash flow of $12.59B provides the organization with considerable financial flexibility to manage capital expenditures, service debt obligations, and potentially fund strategic initiatives without relying heavily on external financing. Profitability analysis reveals a gross margin of 59.6%, an operating margin of 18.4%, and a profit margin of 17.5%, indicating efficient cost control relative to sales volume while maintaining healthy operational leverage. Regarding liquidity and leverage, AT&T holds $18.23B in cash against $159.56B in debt, resulting in a debt-to-equity ratio of 124.18, which characterizes a highly leveraged balance sheet typical of capital-intensive utility-like businesses. The current ratio stands at 0.91, suggesting that the company's current assets are slightly below its current liabilities, reflecting a tight working capital position that requires careful cash management. Return on Equity is 18.8% while Return on Assets is 4.1%, metrics that reveal the company generates strong returns for shareholders relative to their investment but utilizes assets less intensively compared to high-growth sectors.

バリュエーション評価

The stock trades at a trailing P/E ratio of 9.00 and a forward P/E of 10.75, implying that the market expects earnings growth to be modest, as the forward multiple is higher than the trailing one. The price-to-book ratio is 1.74, indicating that the market values the company at a modest premium over its tangible book value, reflecting intangible assets like spectrum licenses and brand equity. Alternative valuation metrics show a price-to-sales ratio of 1.52 and an EV/EBITDA of 7.93, suggesting the company is valued conservatively relative to its sales and earnings generation capabilities compared to high-growth technology peers. The 52-week high is $29.79 and the 52-week low is $22.95, meaning the current price point sits within this historical trading range, reflecting recent market volatility and sentiment shifts. The beta of 0.54 indicates that the stock exhibits low price volatility relative to the broader market, moving less than half as much as the general index during periods of market fluctuation.

Growth & Income

Revenue growth for the year-over-year period is 3.6%, whereas earnings growth is -5.6%, indicating that profitability is contracting faster than top-line sales due to cost pressures or margin compression. As a significant dividend payer, AT&T offers a dividend yield of 4.1% with a payout ratio of 27.4%, a level that appears sustainable given the low payout percentage relative to the net income and free cash flow generation. The relatively low payout ratio suggests the company retains a large portion of its earnings for reinvestment rather than distributing them entirely to shareholders, balancing income provision with internal capital needs. Overall, the growth and income profile presents a mature utility-like asset offering steady income via dividends rather than rapid capital appreciation, with earnings stability currently lagging behind revenue expansion.
