企業概要

Meta Platforms, Inc. is a leading technology enterprise that develops and operates digital products facilitating connections among individuals and families across mobile devices, personal computers, virtual reality headsets, and AI glasses within the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and international markets. The corporation operates within the Communication Services sector, specifically the Internet Content & Information industry, positioning it as a dominant force in the global digital advertising and social networking ecosystem. As of the latest data, the company commands a substantial market capitalization of $1.59 trillion, generates annual revenue totaling $200.97 billion, and employs a workforce of 78,865 individuals. These valuation and revenue figures underscore Meta's status as a mega-cap entity with significant scale, reflecting its entrenched position in the digital economy and its ability to mobilize vast resources for product development and infrastructure expansion.

財務健全性

The company reports a trailing twelve-month revenue of $200.97 billion, net income of $60.46 billion, and EBITDA of $101.89 billion. The substantial gap between the revenue figure and the net income indicates a highly efficient cost structure where operating expenses, while significant, are managed to preserve a large portion of earnings as bottom-line profit. Free cash flow stands at $23.43 billion, which demonstrates robust financial flexibility allowing the firm to fund capital expenditures, return capital to shareholders, or pursue strategic acquisitions without relying on external financing. Margin analysis reveals a gross margin of 82.0%, an operating margin of 41.3%, and a profit margin of 30.1%, all of which indicate exceptional operational leverage and pricing power within the digital services model. On the balance sheet, the company holds $81.59 billion in cash against $85.08 billion in debt, resulting in a debt-to-equity ratio of 39.16, suggesting a leveraged but manageable capital structure typical of high-growth technology firms. Liquidity is further evidenced by a current ratio of 2.60, signaling that the company possesses more than double the current assets necessary to cover its short-term liabilities. Furthermore, the return on equity is 30.2% and the return on assets is 16.2%, metrics that reveal highly effective management in generating substantial returns on the capital invested in the business.

バリュエーション評価

Valuation metrics show a trailing twelve-month P/E ratio of 26.74 and a forward P/E of 17.47, implying that the market expects earnings growth that will bridge this significant valuation gap over the coming fiscal periods. The price-to-book ratio is recorded at 7.32, indicating that the market values the company at more than seven times its book value, reflecting a premium assigned to its intangible assets and future growth prospects. Alternative valuation multiples include a price-to-sales ratio of 7.91 and an EV/EBITDA of 15.63, suggesting that investors are pricing the stock based on strong cash generation capabilities relative to sales and enterprise value. The stock's trading range over the past year spans a 52-week high of $796.25 and a 52-week low of $479.80, providing a context for volatility assessment. The beta value of 1.31 indicates that the stock exhibits price volatility approximately 31% higher than the broader market, meaning it is more sensitive to market fluctuations than the average equity.

Growth & Income

Revenue growth stands at 23.8% year-over-year, while earnings growth is recorded at 10.7% year-over-year, indicating that earnings are currently growing at a slower pace than revenue, which often implies that the company is prioritizing heavy capital investment in new products or infrastructure that temporarily suppresses net margin expansion relative to top-line expansion. The company reports a dividend yield of 0.3% with a payout ratio of 8.9%, suggesting a minimal but sustainable dividend policy that allows the vast majority of free cash flow to be retained for reinvestment. Given the low payout ratio and significant cash reserves, the company effectively reinvests the majority of its earnings into growth initiatives rather than distributing substantial dividends to shareholders. Overall, the growth and income profile reflects a high-growth technology company that utilizes retained earnings to fuel innovation while offering a modest income return to investors through a small dividend.
