企業概要

LeMaitre Vascular, Inc. is a specialized manufacturer and marketer of medical devices and implants designed specifically for vascular surgery applications across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia Pacific region. The company operates within the Healthcare sector, focusing on the Medical Instruments & Supplies industry, which is characterized by high regulatory barriers and a reliance on continuous technological innovation to capture market share. This enterprise currently holds a market capitalization of $2.57B and generates annual revenue of $249.60M, while employing a workforce of 646 individuals to support its global operations. These valuation and revenue figures indicate that the company has established itself as a significant player in the global medical device market, commanding a substantial market presence that reflects strong investor confidence in its product portfolio and geographic diversification.

財務健全性

The company reported a trailing twelve-month revenue of $249.60M with a corresponding net income of $57.73M and an EBITDA of $73.53M, illustrating a cost structure where operating expenses consume a significant portion of top-line growth to arrive at the bottom line. The generation of $47.35M in free cash flow demonstrates robust financial flexibility, providing the entity with ample liquidity to fund research and development initiatives, repay debt obligations, or pursue strategic acquisitions without relying heavily on external financing. LeMaitre Vascular maintains impressive profitability metrics, boasting a gross margin of 70.4% that highlights the high value and pricing power of its medical device products, alongside an operating margin of 21.8% and a profit margin of 23.1% that reflect efficient cost management and effective tax planning. On the balance sheet, the firm holds $359.12M in cash against $185.59M in debt, resulting in a debt-to-equity ratio of 47.16, which suggests a moderately leveraged but well-capitalized financial position capable of absorbing economic shocks. The current ratio stands at 12.89, a figure that indicates exceptional short-term liquidity and the ability to comfortably meet its immediate financial obligations with current assets. Furthermore, the Return on Equity of 15.8% and Return on Assets of 6.8% reveal that management is effectively deploying shareholder capital and utilizing company assets to generate substantial returns relative to the industry averages for medical device firms.

バリュエーション評価

Valuation multiples for LeMaitre Vascular reflect a premium pricing model, with a trailing P/E ratio of 44.73 and a forward P/E of 35.39, implying that the market expects earnings growth to accelerate significantly in the coming fiscal periods to justify the current price levels. The price-to-book ratio of 6.52 indicates that the stock is trading at a substantial premium over its book value, signaling that investors are willing to pay for the intangible assets, brand reputation, and proprietary technology inherent in the company's vascular surgery device portfolio. Alternative valuation metrics such as a price-to-sales ratio of 10.29 and an EV/EBITDA of 32.56 further suggest that the market values the company's revenue generation capabilities and cash flow quality highly, despite the high absolute valuation multiples. In terms of price action, the stock has traded between a 52-week low of $77.01 and a 52-week high of $115.33, meaning the current share price sits within a range that reflects recent market volatility but remains below the annual peak. The beta of 0.67 indicates that the stock's price volatility is significantly lower than the broader market, suggesting that LeMaitre Vascular may offer a more stable risk profile compared to high-beta growth stocks in the biotechnology and healthcare sectors.

Growth & Income

The company demonstrates a dynamic growth profile with revenue growth of 15.7% year-over-year and earnings growth of 41.4% year-over-year, indicating that operational leverage is allowing net income to expand at a rate substantially faster than top-line sales. This disparity between revenue and earnings growth implies that the company is successfully managing its fixed costs and perhaps benefiting from pricing power or favorable foreign exchange rates that are magnifying the impact of revenue increases on the bottom line. As a dividend payer, the company offers a yield of 0.9% with a payout ratio of 31.8%, a metric that suggests the dividend is highly sustainable given the earnings growth rate and the substantial cash reserves available to the firm. The low payout ratio combined with strong cash flow generation indicates that the company retains the majority of its earnings to reinvest in new product development and market expansion rather than distributing them as dividends. Overall, the growth and income profile presents a balanced approach where moderate dividend income is supported by aggressive earnings expansion, catering to investors seeking both capital appreciation and a modest yield within the healthcare sector.
