分析

企業概要

AAR Corp. operates within the industrials sector, specifically focusing on the aerospace and defense industry, providing essential products and services to commercial aviation, government, and defense markets across North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and international regions. The corporation executes its operations through four distinct segments including Parts Supply, Repair & Engineering, Integrated Solutions, and Expeditionary Services, which collectively support a diverse range of logistical and maintenance needs. The company's market capitalization stands at $4.89B, reflecting its status as a significant entity in the industrial landscape, while its annual revenue reaches $3.13B and it employs a workforce of 5,600 individuals. These valuation and revenue figures indicate that AAR Corp. maintains a substantial market presence, generating over three billion dollars in sales annually while managing a valuation that suggests confidence from market participants regarding its operational stability and global reach.

財務健全性

The company reported a total revenue of $3.13B over the trailing twelve months, with a net income of $171.00M and an EBITDA of $342.20M, illustrating a cost structure where operating expenses and taxes reduce pre-tax earnings by approximately 47% before reaching the bottom line. The free cash flow generated amounts to $27.90M, which represents the cash remaining after capital expenditures and indicates the company's current capacity for financial flexibility or debt servicing, though the figure is relatively modest compared to total EBITDA. Profitability analysis reveals a gross margin of 19.0%, an operating margin of 7.6%, and a profit margin of 5.5%, suggesting that the company retains a small portion of sales as net profit after accounting for the high operational costs inherent in aerospace logistics and defense contracting. Regarding balance sheet leverage, the company holds $78.50M in cash against $979.70M in total debt, resulting in a debt-to-equity ratio of 59.61%, which characterizes a leveraged balance sheet rather than a conservative one. Liquidity metrics show a current ratio of 2.70, indicating that the company possesses sufficient current assets to cover its short-term liabilities with a comfortable margin of safety. Return metrics demonstrate a Return on Equity of 12.1% and a Return on Assets of 5.6%, revealing that management generates efficient returns on shareholder equity while utilizing assets moderately effectively relative to the asset base.

バリュエーション評価

Valuation metrics indicate a trailing P/E ratio of 27.04 and a forward P/E of 21.73, implying that the market expects earnings growth that would lower the valuation multiple over the coming year as future earnings are anticipated to exceed current levels. The price-to-book ratio is recorded at 2.94, suggesting that the market values the company at nearly three times its book value, which may reflect a premium assigned to its intangible assets, brand, or specific growth prospects within the defense sector. Alternative valuation measures include a price-to-sales ratio of 1.56 and an EV/EBITDA of 16.74, which provide context by showing that investors are willing to pay a premium of over 1.5 times annual sales, while the enterprise value relative to cash flow suggests a moderate valuation multiple considering the company's cash generation capabilities. Price momentum analysis shows a 52-week high of $124.55 and a 52-week low of $47.95, meaning the stock price has exhibited significant volatility, trading well below its recent peak but offering a wide range of historical price action for comparison. The beta value of 1.21 indicates that the stock's price volatility is 21% higher than the broader market, signaling that the stock tends to amplify market movements and may experience sharper swings during periods of market turbulence.

Growth & Income

Revenue growth for the trailing twelve months stands at 24.6%, while earnings growth is listed as N/A, indicating that while top-line expansion is accelerating rapidly, the specific year-over-year change in net income relative to the provided data points is not explicitly quantified in the available facts. The absence of a dividend yield and a payout ratio of 0.0% confirms that the company does not currently distribute dividends to shareholders, prioritizing the retention of earnings for reinvestment into its operations and growth initiatives rather than immediate income distribution. This strategy aligns with the company's phase of expansion, where capital is directed toward maintaining its extensive parts supply network and engineering capabilities rather than rewarding investors with cash payouts. Overall, the growth and income profile is characterized by robust revenue expansion and a zero-dividend policy, positioning the asset as a growth-oriented industrial stock rather than an income-generating vehicle for the current period.
