About Trinity Biotech plc

Trinity Biotech plc, together with its subsidiaries, develops, acquires, manufactures, and markets medical diagnostic products for the clinical laboratory and point-of-care (POC) segments of the diagnostic market in the Americas, Asia, Africa, and Europe. The company offers clinical laboratory products, including diagnostic tests and instrumentation, which detects infectious diseases; sexually transmitted diseases, such as syphilis and herpes; SARS-CoV-2; and epstein barr, measles, mumps, toxoplasmosis, cytomegalovirus, rubella, varicella and other viral pathogens, as well as products for the in-vitro diagnostic measurement of haemoglobin A1c used in the monitoring and diagnosis of diabetes, and identifying those who are at a risk of developing diabetes. It also provides laboratory-testing services for Sjogren's syndrome, hearing loss, celiac disease, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic sclerosis, and other laboratory-testing services for autoimmune disorders. In addition, the company develops, manufactures, and sells products in the immunofluorescence assay, enzyme-linked immunosorbent, western blot, and line immunoassay formats; and provides reagent products, such as ACE, bile acids, oxalate, and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase for diagnosis of liver and kidney diseases, as well as haemolytic anaemia. It serves public health authorities, and clinical and reference laboratories through its direct sales force, as well as through a network of independent distributors and strategic partners. It has a collaboration agreement with a bioinformatics company to conduct analysis on clinical trial data for EpiCapture, a molecular diagnostics company for developing a non invasive urine based prognostic test for progression to aggressive prostate cancer. It has a strategic collaboration agreement with Echelon Data Centres to develop advanced liquid cooling solutions for AI infrastructure. Trinity Biotech plc was incorporated in 1992 and is headquartered in Bray, Ireland.
