公司概述

Curtiss-Wright Corporation operates globally as a provider of engineered products, solutions, and services primarily serving the aerospace and defense, commercial nuclear power, process, and industrial markets. The company is situated within the Industrials sector and specifically the Aerospace & Defense industry, positioning it as a key supplier of critical components for high-reliability systems where engineering precision is paramount. With a market capitalization of $26.67B and annual revenue of $3.50B, the firm employs a workforce of 9,100 individuals to execute its operations. These valuation and revenue figures indicate that Curtiss-Wright holds a substantial scale within its niche, reflecting its status as a major player capable of sustaining significant operational complexity and serving diverse global clients across multiple distinct industrial verticals.

财务健康

The company reported trailing twelve-month revenue of $3.50B, net income of $484.23M, and EBITDA of $796.36M, revealing a cost structure where operating expenses and taxes absorb approximately 38% of gross revenue before reaching the bottom line. Free cash flow stands at $465.74M, which signifies robust financial flexibility allowing the entity to fund capital expenditures, manage working capital cycles, and potentially pursue strategic acquisitions without immediate reliance on external financing. The gross margin of 37.2% suggests strong pricing power and efficient production costs relative to sales, while the operating margin of 20.3% indicates effective overhead management and scalable operational efficiency. The profit margin of 13.8% further confirms that the company retains a significant portion of its revenue as net earnings after all corporate expenses. On the balance sheet, the company holds $371.34M in cash against $1.17B in debt, resulting in a debt-to-equity ratio of 46.10, which implies a leveraged but manageable capital structure typical for capital-intensive manufacturing sectors. A current ratio of 1.44 demonstrates adequate short-term liquidity, ensuring the firm can comfortably meet its obligations due within one year. Management effectiveness is highlighted by a return on equity of 19.4% and a return on assets of 8.2%, metrics that show the company generates substantial returns on shareholder capital and utilizes its asset base efficiently to produce earnings.

估值评估

The trailing twelve-month P/E ratio is 56.18, while the forward P/E is projected at 43.32, implying that the market expects earnings growth that will bring the multiple down to more sustainable levels in the near future. The price-to-book ratio of 10.51 indicates that the stock trades at a significant premium over its book value, reflecting high market expectations for future growth and the intangible value of its specialized engineering capabilities. Alternative valuation metrics such as the price-to-sales ratio of 7.62 and an EV/EBITDA of 34.45 suggest that investors are pricing in substantial revenue expansion and earnings power beyond current book values. The stock has historically traded between a 52-week low of $286.71 and a 52-week high of $739.99, providing a wide range of volatility within which the current price fluctuates. With a beta of 0.92, the stock exhibits price volatility that closely tracks the broader market, suggesting it does not amplify market swings significantly but moves in tandem with general market sentiment.

Growth & Income

Revenue growth stands at 14.9% year-over-year, while earnings growth reaches 19.6% year-over-year, indicating that earnings are expanding at a faster pace than revenue, which implies improved operational leverage or margin expansion driving profitability. The company currently offers a dividend yield of 0.1% with a payout ratio of 7.2%, suggesting that the firm prioritizes retaining earnings for reinvestment into its engineered product lines rather than distributing significant cash to shareholders. Given the low payout ratio and modest yield, the capital generated is largely directed back into business growth initiatives rather than dividend payments. Overall, the company presents a growth-oriented profile characterized by double-digit earnings expansion and minimal reliance on dividend income for shareholder returns.
