회사 개요
Reynolds Consumer Products Inc. is a leading manufacturer and distributor of essential consumer goods, focusing on products used for cooking, serving, cleaning up, storing food, and tableware across the United States and international markets. The company operates within the Consumer Cyclical sector, specifically the Packaging & Containers industry, which positions it as a supplier of durable and semi-durable goods whose demand is tied to broader economic activity and household consumption patterns. Reynolds employs approximately 6,000 people and maintains a market capitalization of $4.40 billion, generating total revenue of $3.72 billion over the trailing twelve months. These valuation and revenue figures indicate that the company is a mid-to-large-cap entity with significant operational scale, providing it with the capacity to invest in manufacturing capabilities and distribution networks while maintaining a substantial presence in the global packaging landscape.
재무 건전성
The company reported a trailing twelve-month revenue of $3.72 billion, accompanied by a net income of $301.00 million and an EBITDA of $667.00 million, highlighting a significant gap between operating earnings and net profit that reflects substantial tax expenses and non-operating costs impacting the bottom line. Free cash flow stands at $291.00 million, which demonstrates the company's ability to generate liquidity from its core operations after capital expenditures, thereby ensuring financial flexibility for debt servicing or operational reinvestment without relying solely on external financing. The gross margin is recorded at 24.6%, indicating the portion of revenue remaining after direct production costs, while the operating margin of 17.9% and profit margin of 8.1% reveal the company's efficiency in managing overhead expenses and its overall ability to convert sales into net earnings. On the balance sheet, the firm holds $148.00 million in cash against total debt of $1.70 billion, resulting in a debt-to-equity ratio of 75.37, which suggests a leveraged capital structure where the company relies significantly on debt financing relative to its equity base. The current ratio is 1.93, a metric that indicates strong short-term liquidity and the ability to meet its current liabilities with current assets, providing a comfortable buffer against immediate financial obligations. Return on equity is 13.7% and return on assets is 6.8%, metrics that reveal how effectively management is utilizing shareholders' capital and the company's total asset base to generate returns, respectively, with the ROE indicating a strong return on invested equity despite the higher leverage levels.
밸류에이션 평가
Reynolds Consumer Products Inc. trades with a trailing twelve-month P/E ratio of 14.61 and a forward P/E of 12.43, where the difference between these two multiples implies that the market expects earnings growth in the future that would justify a lower multiple on upcoming earnings compared to historical performance. The price-to-book ratio is 1.95, suggesting that the market values the company at nearly double its book value, which may reflect expectations of intangible assets, brand equity, or future growth potential not fully captured on the balance sheet. Alternative valuation metrics such as the price-to-sales ratio of 1.18 and an EV/EBITDA of 8.91 provide additional context, indicating that the stock is priced at slightly more than one dollar of revenue per dollar of sales and offers earnings relative to enterprise value that is competitive within the packaging industry. Regarding price range metrics, the 52-week high is $26.25 and the 52-week low is $20.70, placing the current trading price in a range that fluctuates below the yearly peak but above the yearly trough, reflecting moderate volatility within its established trading band. The stock carries a beta of 0.54, which indicates that the share price is less volatile than the broader market, moving with less intensity during market upturns or downturns compared to a beta of 1.0, thereby offering a lower-risk profile relative to the overall equity market.
Growth & Income
Revenue growth year-over-year is 1.4%, while earnings growth year-over-year is -2.3%, indicating that earnings are currently contracting relative to revenue expansion, which implies that cost pressures or one-time expenses are outpacing top-line gains and compressing profitability. As a dividend payer, the company offers a dividend yield of 4.4% with a payout ratio of 64.3%, a level that appears sustainable given the positive free cash flow generation, though the negative earnings growth suggests caution regarding the long-term ability to maintain this payout without relying heavily on cash reserves. The company does not reinvest all earnings into aggressive growth initiatives to the exclusion of dividends, as evidenced by the active distribution of income to shareholders alongside its operational focus on the cooking, serving, and storage categories. Overall, the company presents a profile characterized by moderate revenue stability, a declining earnings trajectory in the current period, and a robust income return for shareholders through a high-yield dividend structure.
