分析

企業概要

Brunswick Corporation is a global manufacturer dedicated to the design, production, and distribution of recreational products across North America, Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, and international markets. The enterprise operates within the Consumer Cyclical sector, specifically focusing on the Recreational Vehicles industry, which characterizes its exposure to discretionary consumer spending patterns and seasonal demand fluctuations. The corporation's operational scale is defined by a market capitalization of $5.08B, an annual revenue of $5.36B, and a workforce comprising 13,300 employees. These valuation and financial metrics suggest that Brunswick maintains a significant presence in the marine and recreational goods market, positioning it as a substantial player capable of influencing sector-wide trends while managing a large-scale global supply chain.

財務健全性

The company reported a Total Revenue of $5.36B over the trailing twelve months, yet recorded a Net Income of $-135.9M, highlighting a significant divergence between top-line growth and bottom-line profitability. This disparity indicates a strained cost structure where operating expenses, likely including restructuring costs or one-time charges, have substantially eroded net earnings despite robust sales volume. Conversely, the entity generated an EBITDA of $605.6M, suggesting that core operational cash generation remains positive even when accounting for the net loss. The Free Cash Flow stands at $422.88M, which provides the management team with considerable financial flexibility to fund capital expenditures, reduce debt, or pursue strategic acquisitions without relying on external equity financing. Brunswick maintains a Cash balance of $257.6M against a Total Debt of $2.28B, resulting in a Debt-to-Equity ratio of 140.43, which reflects a highly leveraged balance sheet typical for capital-intensive manufacturing industries. The Current Ratio of 1.44 indicates that the company possesses sufficient current assets to cover its short-term liabilities, demonstrating adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations. Furthermore, the Return on Equity is -7.7% while the Return on Assets is 3.6%, revealing that while asset utilization is moderately efficient, the company is currently diluting shareholder value due to the negative net income impacting equity returns.

バリュエーション評価

The valuation metrics present a complex picture, with a Trailing P/E ratio listed as N/A due to the recent net loss, while the Forward P/E stands at 14.91, implying that the market anticipates a significant recovery in earnings growth in the coming fiscal periods. The Price-to-Book ratio is recorded at 3.11, indicating that the market values the company at more than three times its tangible book value, potentially reflecting intangible assets or expectations of future operational improvements. Additional valuation multiples include a Price-to-Sales ratio of 0.95 and an EV/EBITDA of 11.70, which suggest that the stock is priced at roughly equal to its annual revenue and offers a multiple that is moderate relative to the capital-intensive nature of the recreational vehicle industry. The stock has exhibited significant volatility, trading between a 52-Week High of $90.25 and a 52-Week Low of $41.00. Based on the available data range, the current trading price sits approximately 54.4% below the 52-week high, positioning the security near the lower end of its recent historical range. The Beta of 1.38 indicates that the stock's price volatility is approximately 38% higher than that of the broader market, signaling higher risk and potential reward characteristics for risk-tolerant investors.

Growth & Income

Brunswick Corporation has demonstrated strong top-line expansion with a Revenue Growth of 15.5% year-over-year, whereas the Earnings Growth is listed as N/A due to the current net loss. The divergence between robust revenue expansion and negative earnings growth implies that the company is investing heavily in operations or facing non-recurring costs that are currently suppressing profitability despite sales increases. Regarding income distribution, the company offers a Dividend Yield of 2.3% while maintaining a Payout Ratio of 193.2%, which suggests that the dividend is being funded from sources other than current net income, such as cash flows or reserves. Given the payout ratio exceeding 100%, the sustainability of the dividend is contingent upon the ability to generate sufficient Free Cash Flow to cover the commitment without drawing down cash reserves excessively. The overall growth and income profile is characterized by a company in a transitional phase, delivering double-digit revenue growth and solid free cash flow generation while managing a high debt load and a dividend policy that outpaces current statutory earnings.
