分析

企業概要

AGCO Corporation is a global manufacturer and distributor of agricultural machinery and replacement parts, providing essential equipment for row crop production, soil cultivation, planting, land leveling, seeding, and commercial hay operations. The company operates within the Industrials sector, specifically the Farm & Heavy Construction Machinery industry, which positions it as a critical supplier for the global agricultural infrastructure and food supply chain. AGCO maintains a substantial market capitalization of 88.5 億ドル (8.85B USD) and generates annual revenue of 100.8 億ドル (10.08B USD) while employing a workforce of 22,000 individuals. These valuation and revenue figures indicate that the company holds a significant position in the industrial equipment market, reflecting its established footprint and scale in serving farmers and agricultural businesses worldwide.

財務健全性

AGCO Corporation reported trailing twelve-month revenue of 100.8 億ドル (10.08B USD), with net income of 7.265 億ドル (726.50M USD) and EBITDA of 10.2 億ドル (1.02B USD). The substantial gap between the revenue figure and net income reveals a cost structure where operating expenses, including cost of goods sold and administrative costs, consume a significant portion of top-line growth before reaching the bottom line. The company generated free cash flow of 8.5001 億ドル (850.01M USD), which provides the financial flexibility necessary to fund capital expenditures, service debt obligations, or pursue strategic acquisitions without relying solely on external financing. Profitability is measured across three key margins: a gross margin of 25.5%, an operating margin of 9.4%, and a profit margin of 7.2%, indicating that for every dollar of sales, the company retains 25.5 cents after production costs, 9.4 cents after operating expenses, and 7.2 cents as net profit. Regarding liquidity and leverage, AGCO holds cash of 8.618 億ドル (861.80M USD) against total debt of 2.62 億ドル (2.62B USD), resulting in a debt-to-equity ratio of 57.23, which suggests a balance sheet that relies moderately on leverage to finance its asset base. The current ratio stands at 1.39, indicating that the company possesses sufficient current assets to cover its short-term liabilities with a comfortable buffer. Return metrics show a return on equity of 16.7% and a return on assets of 3.7%, revealing that management is effective at generating returns for shareholders relative to their equity investment, although the return on assets suggests that the company utilizes a significant amount of debt or non-interest-bearing assets to operate.

バリュエーション評価

The valuation of AGCO Corporation is characterized by a trailing P/E ratio of 12.53 and a forward P/E of 15.04, implying that the market expects earnings to grow slightly faster than current levels or that the stock is priced based on conservative expectations for near-term performance. The price-to-book ratio is 2.08, indicating that the market values the company at more than twice its book value, which reflects a premium assigned to its brand, proprietary technology, and market position in the agricultural equipment sector. Alternative valuation metrics include a price-to-sales ratio of 0.88 and an EV/EBITDA of 10.74, suggesting that the stock is trading at a price that is less than one dollar of sales per dollar of revenue, which can be attractive for cyclical industrial stocks, while the EV/EBITDA provides a levered multiple view of the company's operational cash generation capability. In terms of price movement, the 52-week high is 143.78 ドル (143.78 USD) and the 52-week low is 73.90 ドル (73.90 USD), meaning the current trading price sits within this historical range, reflecting the volatility inherent in the agricultural machinery sector. The beta value of 1.16 indicates that the stock's price volatility is slightly higher than the broader market, suggesting that AGCO tends to move more aggressively than the overall market index during periods of economic fluctuation.

Growth & Income

AGCO Corporation experienced a revenue growth year-over-year of 1.1%, while earnings growth year-over-year is listed as N/A, indicating that the company prioritized stability or that the specific earnings growth metric is not currently being highlighted in the available data. The dividend yield is 0.9% with a payout ratio of 11.9%, which suggests that the company retains the vast majority of its earnings for reinvestment rather than distributing them as cash dividends to shareholders. This low payout ratio indicates a strategy focused on internal growth and capital allocation rather than income distribution, allowing the company to strengthen its balance sheet or invest in new technologies. Overall, the company presents a growth profile driven by steady revenue expansion and a conservative income strategy that favors retention over high dividend payouts, aligning with the long-term capital needs of the farm equipment industry.
