Ventyx Biosciences, Inc., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, develops oral therapies for patients with autoimmune, inflammatory, and neurodegenerative diseases. Its pipeline includes small molecule therapeutics to treat inflammation across cardiometabolic disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and inflammatory disorders. The company's portfolio of NLRP3 inhibitors includes VTX958, a selective allosteric tyrosine kinase type 2 inhibitor for Crohn's disease. It is also developing Tamuzimod, a sphingosine 1 phosphate receptor modulator that is in Phase II clinical trials for the treatment of ulcerative colitis; and VTX2735, a peripheral NOD-like receptor protein 3 inflammasome inhibitor to treat patients with cryopyrin-associated periodic syndrome. In addition, the company develops VTX3232, a CNS-penetrant NLRP3 inhibitor that is in a Phase 2a trial for patients with early Parkinson's disease and is in a Phase 2 trial for patients with obesity and additional risk factors for cardiovascular disease.
