The company offers cellular processing and cryogenic storage for family use, primarily for collection and preservation of umbilical cord blood, and tissue stem cells; and cellular processing and cryogenic storage of umbilical cord blood stem cells for public use. It is also involved in the manufacturing of PrepaCyte CB processing system units for processing umbilical cord blood stem cells. In addition, the company provides cold storage services to third-party pharmaceutical companies and medical institutions. It markets its cord blood stem cell preservation services directly to expectant parents, as well as by distributing information through obstetricians, pediatricians, childbirth educators, certified nurse-midwives, and other related healthcare professionals. The company was incorporated in 1989 and is headquartered in Oldsmar, Florida.
