회사 개요
CPS Technologies Corporation is a provider of advanced material solutions serving a diverse array of industrial sectors, including transportation, automotive, energy, computing, telecommunications, aerospace, defense, and oil and gas. The company operates within the Technology sector and specifically targets the Electronic Components industry, positioning itself to supply critical materials for United States, German, European, Asian, and international markets. This entity maintains a market capitalization of $85.71M and generates annual revenue of $32.60M based on trailing twelve-month figures, while employing a workforce of 117 individuals. The relatively modest market cap combined with the specific niche focus on electronic components suggests that the company operates as a specialized mid-cap player rather than a large-cap conglomerate, indicating a focused operational scope where revenue scale is currently constrained by the specific demand for its material solutions across global supply chains.
재무 건전성
Based on the trailing twelve-month data, CPS Technologies Corporation reported revenue of $32.60M with a net income of $420,354 and an EBITDA of $1.05M. The significant gap between the $32.60M revenue and the $420,354 net income highlights a substantial cost structure burden, as operating expenses consume the majority of gross earnings before reaching the bottom line. However, the company holds a robust cash position of $13.24M, which contrasts sharply with its low total debt of $336,000, providing a strong liquidity buffer for operational needs. Despite the positive cash balance, the free cash flow stands at -$902,468, indicating that capital expenditures or other cash outflows currently exceed operating cash generation, which limits immediate financial flexibility for aggressive expansion without external financing. The company's profitability is reflected in a gross margin of 16.2%, an operating margin of -1.2%, and a profit margin of 1.3%, where the negative operating margin reveals that overhead costs are currently exceeding gross profits before interest and taxes. Liquidity is exceptionally strong as evidenced by a current ratio of 5.30, suggesting the company possesses ample current assets to cover its short-term liabilities many times over. Return on equity stands at 2.1% and return on assets at 1.1%, metrics that indicate management is currently generating low returns on the capital invested, a common characteristic for companies in early growth phases or those reinvesting heavily in operations.
밸류에이션 평가
The valuation metrics for CPS Technologies Corporation present a high multiple environment with a trailing P/E ratio of 158.67, while the forward P/E is listed as N/A, implying that analysts have not yet established a consensus on future earnings expectations to calculate a forward multiple. The absence of a forward P/E alongside the high trailing P/E suggests significant uncertainty regarding the trajectory of future earnings growth or that the current earnings base is small and volatile relative to the stock price. The price-to-book ratio is 3.48, indicating that the market values the company at a significant premium of more than three times its net asset value, which often reflects investor optimism about intangible assets or future growth potential beyond the book value. Alternative valuation measures such as a price-to-sales ratio of 2.63 and an EV/EBITDA of 69.60 further underscore the expensive valuation relative to current sales and earnings power, suggesting the stock trades at a high premium compared to traditional industrial peers. In terms of trading range, the stock has fluctuated between a 52-week low of $1.43 and a 52-week high of $6.85, meaning the current price sits somewhere within this established volatility band, reflecting the inherent risk associated with its high beta of 1.47. This beta value signifies that the stock price is expected to be 47% more volatile than the broader market, amplifying both potential gains and losses during periods of market movement.
Growth & Income
Revenue growth for the trailing twelve months stands at an impressive 38.3% year-over-year, while earnings growth is listed as N/A, indicating that the rapid revenue expansion has not yet translated into proportional bottom-line growth or that the small net income figure is too volatile to calculate a meaningful year-over-year percentage. Since the company does not pay dividends, as evidenced by a dividend yield of N/A and a payout ratio of 0.0%, all earnings are retained within the business rather than distributed to shareholders, which supports the strategy of reinvesting capital into operations to fuel future growth. The disparity between the high revenue growth rate and the lack of reported earnings growth implies that the cost of sales or operating expenses are rising in tandem with or faster than revenue, constraining the conversion of top-line growth into profit. Overall, the growth and income profile for CPS Technologies Corporation is characterized by rapid top-line expansion in the electronic components sector but currently lacks the profitability depth to support dividend payments, resulting in a pure growth-oriented capital structure where shareholder returns are entirely dependent on capital appreciation rather than income distributions.
