企業概要
Applied Industrial Technologies, Inc. is an industrial distribution enterprise that provides motion, power, control, and automation technology solutions across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Costa Rica. The company operates within the Industrials sector, specifically in the Industrial Distribution industry, which characterizes its role as a critical intermediary supplying essential components and services to manufacturing and infrastructure clients. With a market capitalization of $10.80B, annual revenue of $4.75B, and an employee base of 6794, Applied Industrial Technologies, Inc. maintains a substantial operational footprint in the global supply chain. These valuation and revenue figures indicate that the company possesses significant market scale, positioning it as a major player capable of leveraging its extensive network to serve diverse geographic markets with high-volume industrial requirements.
財務健全性
The company reported a trailing twelve-month revenue of $4.75B, generating net income of $403.79M and EBITDA of $585.08M, a spread that reveals a cost structure where operating expenses and taxes consume approximately 14.6% of total sales before interest. The entity generated free cash flow of $375.58M, which signifies robust financial flexibility allowing for potential capital expenditures, share repurchases, or debt reduction without relying on external financing. Profitability analysis shows a gross margin of 30.4%, an operating margin of 10.6%, and a profit margin of 8.5%, indicating that the company retains roughly 8.5 cents for every dollar of sales after all costs, including taxes and interest, are accounted for. In terms of liquidity and leverage, the company holds $405.99M in cash against $572.30M in debt, resulting in a debt-to-equity ratio of 30.53%, which suggests a balance sheet that is moderately leveraged rather than overly conservative. The current ratio stands at 3.68, a metric that indicates strong short-term liquidity and the ability to comfortably meet its current liabilities with available assets. Furthermore, the return on equity of 22.0% and return on assets of 10.4% demonstrate that management is effectively utilizing shareholder capital and total assets to generate substantial returns relative to the risk profile of the industry.
バリュエーション評価
Valuation metrics show a trailing P/E ratio of 27.25 and a forward P/E of 24.64, where the difference between these two figures implies that the market expects earnings growth that would lower the multiple on a forward basis compared to the historical average. The price-to-book ratio is recorded at 5.71, indicating that the stock trades at a significant premium over its book value, reflecting the market's high valuation of the company's intangible assets and future earnings potential. Alternative valuation measures include a price-to-sales ratio of 2.27 and an EV/EBITDA of 18.55, suggesting that the company is priced at a premium relative to both sales and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization. Regarding price action, the 52-week high is $296.70 and the 52-week low is $202.42, meaning the current trading range sits between these historical extremes, though the exact current price position relative to the high and low is not specified by the provided data points alone. The beta of 0.82 indicates that the stock's price volatility is lower than that of the broader market, suggesting it may act as a less volatile component within a diversified portfolio compared to high-beta industrials.
Growth & Income
Growth dynamics are characterized by a revenue growth rate of 8.4% year-over-year and an earnings growth rate of 5.0% year-over-year, which implies that earnings are expanding at a slower pace than revenue, potentially signaling rising cost pressures or margin compression that outpaces top-line expansion. As a dividend payer, the company offers a dividend yield of 0.7% with a payout ratio of 17.5%, indicating a highly sustainable distribution policy where less than 20% of earnings are returned to shareholders while the remainder is retained for reinvestment. The low payout ratio combined with positive free cash flow suggests the company prioritizes internal growth and balance sheet strengthening over maximizing immediate dividend payouts. Overall, the growth and income profile presents a moderate expansion trajectory supported by a conservative dividend policy that preserves capital for future operational needs.
