Nuveen Global High Income Fund is a closed-ended fixed income mutual fund launched by Nuveen Investments, Inc. The fund is co-managed by Nuveen Fund Advisors LLC and Nuveen Asset Management, LLC. It invests in fixed income markets across the globe. The fund primarily invests in U.S. high-yield bonds, non-U.S. high-yield bonds from developed and emerging markets, corporate debt securities, U.S. and foreign government debt securities, mortgage and asset-backed securities, preferred securities, secured and unsecured loans, and convertible debt securities. It seeks to invest in below investment grade securities rated BB/Ba or lower. The fund uses a diversified global high-income strategy, which blends high-yield bonds and other income producing securities from around the world, and across the capital structure and credit spectrum, to create its portfolio.
