The fund primarily invests in mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities, floating rate bank loans, and high yield corporate bonds. It employs fundamental analysis with a combination of top-down and bottom-up security selection process to create its portfolio. The fund was formerly known as Franklin Templeton Limited Duration Income Trust. Franklin Limited Duration Income Trust was formed on August 27, 2003 and is domiciled in the United States.
