Culp, Inc. manufactures, sources, and sells fabrics and mattress covers, sewn covers, and cut and sewn kits for use in mattresses, foundations, and mattress sets in the United States, North America, the Far East, Asia, and internationally. The company operates in two segments, Bedding and Upholstery. The Bedding segment offers woven jacquards, knitted and converted fabrics, and sewn mattress covers for use in the production of bedding products, including mattresses, box springs, foundations, top of bed components, and bedding accessory products. The Upholstery segment provides woven jacquards and dobbies, velvets, suedes, faux leathers, and cut and sewn kits for use in the production of residential and commercial upholstered furniture, such as sofas, recliners, chairs, loveseats, sectionals, sofa-beds, and seating for offices and healthcare facilities; and hospitality industry comprising seating for restaurants, hotels, and theaters, as well as offers window treatment products and installation services for customers in the hospitality and commercial industries. The company was incorporated in 1972 and is headquartered in High Point, North Carolina.
