CBAK Energy Technology Limited, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures, commercializes, and distributes lithium-ion and sodium-ion rechargeable batteries. The company operates through the CBAK and Hitrans segments. It develops and manufactures nickel-cobalt-manganese precursor materials and cathode materials. It also provides battery systems and integration solutions for electric vehicles and energy storage applications. Its products are used in electric cars, buses, hybrid vehicles, electric bicycles, tricycles, and other mobility applications, as well as in energy storage systems including residential supply and power supply applications. The company supports applications in logistics vehicles, commercial vehicles, and light electric mobility, and supplies battery solutions for both transportation and stationary energy storage use cases. CBAK Energy Technology Limited was founded in 2001 and is based in Dalian, China, and serves markets in China and international regions.
