公司概述

Oil-Dri Corporation of America is engaged in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of sorbent products across both domestic and international markets. The enterprise operates within the Basic Materials sector, specifically focusing on the Specialty Chemicals industry, which characterizes its position as a provider of essential absorption materials. The company maintains a market capitalization of $916.29M, generates annual revenue of $478.94M, and employs a workforce of 928 individuals. These valuation and revenue figures indicate that Oil-Dri Corporation of America functions as a mid-sized enterprise within the specialty chemicals landscape, balancing significant operational scale with a manageable market presence relative to larger industrial conglomerates.

财务健康

The company reported a trailing twelve-month revenue of $478.94M and a corresponding net income of $50.36M, while its EBITDA reached $85.12M, highlighting a substantial difference between gross revenue and final profit that reflects the magnitude of operating expenses and taxes absorbed. Free cash flow stood at $32.43M, providing the organization with the financial flexibility to manage capital expenditures or weather cyclical downturns without immediate reliance on external financing. The gross margin is recorded at 28.3%, the operating margin at 13.3%, and the profit margin at 11.0%, collectively demonstrating the company's ability to retain value after covering the direct costs of sorbent production and overheads. Total cash on hand amounts to $46.93M, which is slightly less than the total debt of $55.38M, yet the debt-to-equity ratio of 20.33% suggests the balance sheet remains relatively conservative rather than highly leveraged. The current ratio of 3.45 indicates robust short-term liquidity, signifying that current assets are more than three times current liabilities. Furthermore, the return on equity is 20.7% and the return on assets is 10.5%, metrics that reveal management's effectiveness in deploying shareholder capital and utilizing the company's asset base to generate earnings.

估值评估

The trailing twelve-month P/E ratio is 17.48, whereas the forward P/E is listed as N/A, implying that market expectations for future earnings growth are currently undefined or not projected in the available data. The price-to-book ratio stands at 3.36, indicating that the market values the company at a significant premium over its tangible book value, likely reflecting the proprietary nature of its sorbent technology and brand equity. Alternative valuation metrics include a price-to-sales ratio of 1.91 and an EV/EBITDA of 10.86, which suggest the market is willing to pay a moderate multiple relative to sales and enterprise earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization. The stock has traded between a 52-week low of $41.37 and a 52-week high of $70.01, placing the current price within a range that reflects historical volatility and investor sentiment over the past year. With a beta of 0.77, the stock exhibits lower price volatility relative to the broader market, suggesting it may move less drastically than the overall index during periods of market fluctuation.

Growth & Income

Year-over-year revenue growth is 0.7%, while earnings growth is -2.1%, indicating that earnings are currently contracting slightly faster than revenue, which may point to margin compression or one-time cost factors affecting profitability. As a dividend payer, the company offers a dividend yield of 1.3% with a payout ratio of 18.5%, a low ratio that suggests the dividend is highly sustainable given the company's earnings stream and free cash flow generation. The modest revenue growth coupled with negative earnings growth defines a mature growth profile where the focus has shifted from rapid expansion to value preservation and income generation. Overall, the company presents a steady income profile characterized by stable dividends and conservative balance sheet metrics rather than aggressive capital appreciation potential.
