公司概述

Clean Harbors, Inc. operates as a provider of environmental and industrial services within the United States and Canada, utilizing two primary segments to collect, transport, treat, recycle, and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The company functions within the Industrials sector and specifically the Waste Management industry, positioning it as a critical utility-like entity essential for industrial operations and environmental compliance. At the current time, the firm holds a market capitalization of $16.14B and generates annual revenue of $6.03B TTM, employing a workforce of 22,155 individuals to execute its operations. These valuation and revenue figures indicate that the company maintains a substantial market footprint, reflecting a large-scale operational capability that supports significant capital deployment and service delivery across its geographic markets.

财务健康

The company reported a trailing twelve-month revenue of $6.03B, with net income reaching $390.97M and EBITDA at $1.12B, revealing a substantial gap between gross revenue and bottom-line profit that highlights a significant cost structure involving operating expenses, taxes, and interest. Free cash flow stands at $347.51M, which demonstrates the company's ability to generate cash after capital expenditures, providing financial flexibility for operational investments or debt servicing without relying solely on external financing. Analysis of the margin profile shows a gross margin of 31.3%, an operating margin of 10.6%, and a profit margin of 6.5%, indicating that while the company retains over a third of sales revenue as gross profit, operating costs and other expenses consume a majority of that gross profit to arrive at the final net income. On the balance sheet, the company holds $953.68M in cash against $3.27B in debt, resulting in a debt-to-equity ratio of 118.92%, which characterizes a highly leveraged financial structure rather than a conservative one. Despite the high leverage, the current ratio is 2.33, suggesting that the company possesses strong short-term liquidity to meet its obligations as they come due. Return on equity is reported at 14.7% while return on assets sits at 5.6%, revealing that management generates a relatively high return on shareholder capital but a lower return on the total asset base, likely due to the heavy debt financing used to acquire assets.

估值评估

The stock trades with a trailing P/E ratio of 41.51 and a forward P/E of 32.20, where the significant difference between these metrics implies that the market expects earnings growth to accelerate substantially in the coming year to justify the lower forward multiple. The price-to-book ratio is 5.82, indicating that the market values the company's equity at a substantial premium of nearly six times its book value, reflecting high intangible assets or strong brand moats not captured on the balance sheet. Alternative valuation metrics include a price-to-sales ratio of 2.68 and an EV/EBITDA of 16.35, suggesting the market is willing to pay a high multiple relative to both sales and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization. The 52-week trading range spans from a low of $179.47 to a high of $303.81, and without the current specific price point provided in the facts, the exact percentage deviation from these bounds cannot be calculated, though the range demonstrates significant historical volatility over the past year. The beta of 0.94 indicates that the stock's price volatility is nearly identical to the broader market, meaning it does not significantly amplify or dampen market movements compared to the index average.

Growth & Income

Revenue growth stands at 4.8% year-over-year while earnings growth is recorded at 4.9% year-over-year, showing that earnings are growing marginally faster than revenue, which implies potential margin expansion or cost control efficiencies driving profitability ahead of top-line volume increases. As a non-dividend payer, the company reports a dividend yield of N/A and a payout ratio of 0.0%, meaning the firm retains all its net income to reinvest into business growth, debt reduction, or share buybacks rather than distributing cash to shareholders. This retention strategy aligns with the company's leveraged balance sheet, prioritizing capital allocation for expansion over immediate income returns for investors. Overall, the growth and income profile presents a high-growth, non-income stock characterized by moderate revenue expansion and strong earnings momentum funded entirely through retained earnings.
