कंपनी का अवलोकन

Commercial Metals Company operates within the Industrials sector, specifically functioning in the Metal Fabrication industry, where it manufactures, recycles, and fabricates steel and metal products alongside related materials and services across the United States, Poland, China, and international markets. The organization executes its operations through three distinct segments: the North America Steel Group, the Europe Steel Group, and the Emerging Businesses Group, allowing for a diversified geographic footprint. This industrial entity employs a workforce of 12,690 individuals, reflecting a significant operational scale within the manufacturing landscape. With a market capitalization of $7.27 billion and trailing twelve-month revenue of $8.39 billion, the company demonstrates substantial economic size. These valuation and revenue figures indicate that Commercial Metals Company commands a considerable position in the global metal fabrication market, suggesting robust demand for its fabricated steel products and specialized industrial services.

वित्तीय स्वास्थ्य

The company reported total revenue of $8.39 billion over the trailing twelve months, generating a net income of $505.22 million and an EBITDA of $1.06 billion. The substantial gap between the $8.39 billion in revenue and the $505.22 million in net income reveals a significant cost structure where operating expenses, taxes, and interest charges consume approximately 94% of top-line sales. Despite these costs, the firm generated $144.20 million in free cash flow, which provides essential financial flexibility for capital expenditures, debt repayment, or potential shareholder returns. The company maintains a gross margin of 17.7%, an operating margin of 8.2%, and a profit margin of 6.0%, indicating that it retains roughly 6 cents of profit for every dollar of sales after all expenses. On the balance sheet, Commercial Metals Company holds $495.04 million in cash against $3.60 billion in total debt, resulting in a debt-to-equity ratio of 81.61% that suggests a leveraged capital structure typical for capital-intensive manufacturing. However, the current ratio of 2.38 indicates strong short-term liquidity, as the company holds more than twice the current value of its assets relative to its current liabilities. Furthermore, the return on equity stands at 12.0% while the return on assets is 5.7%, metrics that reveal management's effectiveness in generating returns on shareholder capital relative to the total asset base employed.

मूल्यांकन आकलन

The stock carries a trailing twelve-month P/E ratio of 14.67 compared to a forward P/E of 9.42, implying that the market expects a significant increase in earnings growth in the coming periods to justify the current valuation. The price-to-book ratio is recorded at 1.65, which indicates that the market values the company at 65% above its net asset book value, reflecting premiums assigned to its operational assets and brand. Alternative valuation metrics such as the price-to-sales ratio of 0.87 and an EV/EBITDA of 9.80 suggest the company is trading at a reasonable multiple relative to its sales volume and enterprise earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization. Regarding price volatility, the stock has a 52-week high of $84.87 and a 52-week low of $38.38, placing the current trading price within a range that reflects recent market fluctuations over the past year. The beta value of 1.47 indicates that the stock price is more volatile than the broader market, moving with greater intensity during periods of overall market stability or turbulence.

Growth & Income

Revenue growth stands at 21.5% year-over-year while earnings growth reaches 277.3% year-over-year, indicating that earnings are expanding significantly faster than revenue due to likely operational leverage or margin expansion. As a dividend payer, the company offers a dividend yield of 1.1% with a payout ratio of 16.1%, a low ratio that suggests the dividend is highly sustainable given the robust earnings growth and strong cash generation capabilities. The low payout ratio allows the firm to retain a majority of its earnings for reinvestment into its manufacturing facilities and recycling operations rather than distributing them entirely as dividends. Overall, the company presents a growth and income profile characterized by double-digit revenue expansion, explosive earnings growth, and a conservative dividend policy that prioritizes financial flexibility over high current income.
