公司概述
Usio, Inc. operates as a provider of integrated electronic payment processing services tailored for merchants and businesses within the United States, offering various automated clearing house (ACH) processing solutions for fund transfers alongside credit, prepaid, and debit card-based payment infrastructure. The company functions within the broader Technology sector and specifically targets the Software - Infrastructure industry, positioning itself as a critical enabler of digital transaction ecosystems. As of the latest data, the entity manages a market capitalization of $32.74M while generating an annual revenue of $85.39M over the trailing twelve months, supported by a workforce of 107 employees. These valuation metrics indicate a mid-sized enterprise with significant revenue generation relative to its market cap, suggesting a company that may be trading at a premium to its book value or operating with specific growth expectations that influence investor sentiment beyond standard profitability ratios.
财务健康
The company reported a revenue of $85.39M for the trailing twelve months, yet recorded a net income of -$2,512,339 and an EBITDA of -$413,381, highlighting a substantial divergence between top-line sales and bottom-line profitability that points to a heavy cost structure or significant one-time expenses impacting the bottom line. Despite the negative net income, the firm generated a positive free cash flow of $670,625, which provides a degree of financial flexibility allowing the company to meet operational obligations without relying solely on external financing. Profitability analysis reveals a gross margin of 23.1%, an operating margin of -5.7%, and a profit margin of -2.9%, indicating that while the core product delivery retains nearly a quarter of revenue as gross profit, overhead costs and other expenses are eroding operating income and overall profitability. On the balance sheet, the company holds $7.43M in cash against $3.89M in debt, resulting in a debt-to-equity ratio of 21.72, which suggests a leveraged capital structure where debt obligations are significant relative to shareholder equity. Liquidity is assessed via a current ratio of 1.08, indicating that current assets barely exceed current liabilities, which presents a tight liquidity position with limited buffer for short-term obligations. Return on equity stands at -13.6% and return on assets at -1.2%, metrics that collectively reveal that management has not yet achieved positive returns on the capital deployed, reflecting the challenges of scaling infrastructure services while maintaining profitability.
估值评估
Valuation metrics for Usio, Inc. present a complex picture, with a trailing P/E ratio of N/A due to negative earnings and a forward P/E of -39.33, implying that the market expects earnings to remain negative in the immediate future or that traditional earnings-based valuation models are currently inapplicable. The price-to-book ratio is recorded at 1.83, suggesting that the market values the company at a significant premium over its net asset book value, likely driven by intangible assets, growth prospects, or the strategic importance of its payment processing infrastructure. Alternative valuation measures such as the price-to-sales ratio of 0.38 and an EV/EBITDA of -70.63 further illustrate the disconnect between current market price and traditional earnings multiples, pointing to a speculative valuation based on revenue generation rather than current profitability. Price action over the last year has oscillated between a 52-week high of $2.02 and a 52-week low of $1.03, with the current trading price reflecting the company's volatility within this established range. The stock exhibits a beta of 1.32, indicating that the equity price is more volatile than the broader market, moving with greater intensity to macroeconomic or sector-specific news that impacts technology infrastructure stocks.
Growth & Income
Revenue growth for the year-over-year period stands at 8.2%, while earnings growth is listed as N/A due to the company's recent losses, creating a scenario where top-line expansion is occurring without immediate corresponding improvements in net income. As a non-dividend payer, the company offers a dividend yield of N/A with a payout ratio of 0.0%, meaning all available cash flows are retained within the business to fund operations, debt reduction, or potential reinvestment into technology and infrastructure rather than being distributed to shareholders. This reinvestment strategy is typical for infrastructure-focused software firms that prioritize scaling their service offerings and capturing market share over returning capital to investors in the short term. The overall growth and income profile characterizes Usio, Inc. as a revenue-expanding entity that currently sacrifices immediate income distribution to support its operational scaling and infrastructure development within the competitive U.S. payment processing landscape.
