公司概述
NWPX Infrastructure, Inc. operates primarily as a manufacturer and seller of water-related infrastructure products within the United States and Canadian markets. The company functions through two distinct operational segments, specifically Water Transmission Systems (WTS) and Precast Infrastructure and Engineered Systems (Precast). As a listed entity in the Basic Materials sector with a specific focus on the Steel industry, NWPX plays a role in providing essential materials for civil engineering and utility projects. The company demonstrates a substantial scale, boasting a market capitalization of $756.86M and generating annual revenue of $526.00M TTM. With an employed workforce of 1318 individuals, the firm's market capitalization and revenue figures indicate a significant position within the regional infrastructure supply chain, suggesting a mature operation with established distribution networks.
财务健康
The financial performance of NWPX is characterized by a TTM revenue of $526.00M, which supports a net income of $35.41M and an EBITDA of $68.90M. The substantial gap between the $526.00M revenue and the $35.41M net income reveals a cost structure where operating expenses and taxes absorb a significant portion of top-line growth, leaving a profit margin of 6.7%. The company generates $32.00M in free cash flow, which provides essential financial flexibility for capital allocation decisions, operational maintenance, and potential debt servicing without relying on external financing. Profitability analysis shows a gross margin of 19.7%, an operating margin of 9.2%, and a profit margin of 6.7%, indicating that while the core manufacturing process retains nearly 20% of revenue as gross profit, operational overheads and taxes significantly compress earnings before the final 6.7% reaches shareholders. Regarding liquidity and leverage, the company holds $2.27M in cash against $109.92M in total debt, resulting in a debt-to-equity ratio of 27.84. This balance sheet composition suggests a leveraged position where debt obligations significantly outweigh liquid cash reserves, though the high current ratio of 3.78 indicates strong short-term liquidity and the ability to meet current liabilities comfortably. Return metrics show a Return on Equity (ROE) of 9.2% and a Return on Assets (ROA) of 5.3%, which reveals that management effectiveness in generating returns on shareholder equity is moderate, while asset efficiency is relatively low compared to equity returns.
估值评估
Valuation metrics for NWPX indicate a trailing P/E ratio of 22.12 and a forward P/E of 16.07, implying that the market expects earnings growth that will lower the multiple from the trailing twelve-month basis to the forward projection. The price-to-book ratio stands at 1.91, indicating that the stock trades at a premium of roughly 91% over its tangible book value, which may reflect intangible assets or growth expectations inherent in the infrastructure sector. Alternative valuation measures include a price-to-sales ratio of 1.44 and an EV/EBITDA of 12.51, suggesting the company is valued at 1.44 times its sales and 12.51 times its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization. The stock's price range over the last year spans from a low of $36.97 to a high of $83.12, providing a wide context for current valuation levels relative to historical volatility. The beta value of 0.92 suggests that the stock's price volatility tracks closely with the broader market, exhibiting slightly less sensitivity to market swings than the average equity.
Growth & Income
The growth profile for the fiscal year shows a revenue growth rate of 5.0% year-over-year, while earnings growth stands at -9.7% year-over-year. This divergence indicates that earnings are growing slower than revenue, specifically contracting in absolute terms despite sales expansion, which often points to cost pressures or one-time charges affecting profitability. The company does not pay dividends, evidenced by a dividend yield of N/A and a payout ratio of 0.0%, meaning the firm reinvests all available earnings into business operations or debt reduction rather than distributing cash to shareholders. Consequently, the overall growth and income profile is defined by moderate revenue expansion offset by declining profitability, with no current income distribution mechanism for investors seeking yield.
