Further, it offers smart cities infrastructure products, such as streetlighting, street furniture, communications infrastructure products, energy infrastructure products, as well as electronics integration including renewable energy sources, battery storage, sensors, and IoT integration; and power electronics and energy storage solutions for telecommunications and energy infrastructure. The company was formerly known as Envision Solar International, Inc. and changed its name to Beam Global in September 2020. Beam Global was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in San Diego, California.
